Our Managers Cause Too Much Negativity in the Workplace

The Challenge

We are in a constant state of crisis management and it creates an enormous amount of stress. This results in a negative twist to the day to day dialogue that is more about excuses and blame than what needs to be done. How do create a more positive, "Can Do" team that is focused on what can be done and how do we overcome the obstacles in front of us.

The Core Problem

The synergy of the day to day dialogue is more focused on negativity. What isn't getting done, what are the global economic situations, did you hear the latest on the economic crisis. A majority of people tend to take information and put an immediate negativity to it. This generates a grass roots mindset of fear and self preservation. How to survive is the priority and it paralyzes the ability to find creative solutions and new ways doing business. Most of the lunchtime chatter is about, "What is wrong with this organization and my manager, do they know what they are doing?" How can we stop negativity.

Creating Positive GIGG

In our Grass Roots workshops we have a short lesson on the biology of how our brain works. This lesson leads to a Brain Principle called GIGG and revolves around the synergy of human thought. One thought to a brain generates a string of additional thoughts. With this education we immediately apply it to the current dialogue in the organization as to whether the first position G is garbage or Good? Through the workshop interaction, homework and follow up assignments given we are able to change the organizations culture to WE CAN DO!
