Mind Mappingâ is a technique for taking in information faster, organizing it more efficiently and retaining it longer. It is designed to take essential information and put it into key words, pictures and symbols and then onto paper to look like the branches and twigs of a tree using colors to bring it to life. Mind Mappingâ takes words (linear, left brain functions) and unites them with visualization (a right brain skill) to create a map that literally displays our brain’s thinking. This amazing technique allows us to quickly see key words and define them using the power of association.
People are able to remember information better since there is a stimuli which will prompt them to recall. In most cases people tend to write excessive amounts of information onto paper when in actuality the brain is only looking for key bits of it to trigger recall. The end result of Mind Mappingâ is a more efficient and powerful tool to process enormous amounts of information. The ability to review for use is much easier thus leading to quicker thinking and actions. It works for everything from taking notes in a meeting to laying out the details of a major project.
Companies do no just hire us for Mind Mappingâ.
It is a great tool that we utilize in other workshops that we conduct to gain
similar results in leadership, teamwork and building critical thinking skills of
employees. The landmark of all our work is to help our clients be more
successful at meeting their current challenges to bottom line results. Mind Mapsâ were created by Tony Buzan in 1970
based upon his research on the method used by the human brain to learn, store
and recall information.
